Whether in our assisted living wing or domiciliary care unit, a personal care plan is developed to meet each of the residents' physical and social needs. Representatives from Nursing, Activities and Dietary departments work closely with the resident's primary care physician and our facility Medical Directors to develop this plan.



  • The Retirement Center (formerly Haywood Rest Home) is a licensed Adult Care Home offering services to those with more extensive health care needs.
  • The Lodge offers two styles of luxury assisted living apartments for those with a more independent lifestyle.
  • Haywood Villa is our independent living apartment offering one bedroom, a full kitchen, dining room, living room and spacious bath. A private entrance and access to our lodge dining and spa room is also included.

Painting, arts and crafts, regularly scheduled exercise sessions, ice cream socials and in-house classes through Haywood Community College are but a few of the many activities offered at the Center.

A Spa Room for therapeutic or relaxation purposes is also provided. A 15 passenger van is available during specified times for local transportation and shopping excursions.
